We have submitted evidence to the inquiry launched by the APPG on Further Education and Lifelong Learning on adult education.

While the government’s focus on supporting young people into the labour market is needed given the high NEET figures, this should not come at the expense of adult education. Our response highlights the key role that sector skills bodies can play as strategic partners for government to support the skills system to respond to employer demand and provide a collective voice on workforce issues.
