Skills Federation has submitted a response to the Invest 2035: the UK’s modern Industrial Strategy Green Paper announced by the government in November 2024.

Our response focuses on the need for a strategic, unified skills system to support economic growth. It advocates for clearer sector definitions and better alignment between emerging sectors, industries and skills development. It highlights barriers to employer investment in training and offers solutions to improve coordination and support for skills development.
